Waimauku Kindergarten – Unqualified Support Staff Role (Permanent Part Time)
20 hours per week: 8:30am – 12:30pm, Monday – Friday (term time only)
Our lovely Support Staff person is sadly leaving us, so we need someone just as fabulous to replace her. We welcome applicants who would enjoy working in a wonderful early learning environment as a supportive member of the team at Waimauku kindergarten. This position would ideally start as soon as possible.
The person will be supporting the teachers in contact with young children during the busiest part of the day. This is a permanent part time position, term time only, unless otherwise required to attend paid professional development time during term breaks.
As this is an unqualified support role the ideal person is someone who enjoys being with and working alongside young children on their educational journey. The functions of this role are being reviewed, and we are beginning to engage in a co design pilot process. You will need to be keen to learn about young children, kindergarten and working with the teaching team in providing a high-quality learning environment.
