0.95 Part-Time, Permanent Teacher
An exciting new start for 2025 could be yours teaching at Waimauku Kindergarten.

We are looking for a keen, energetic teacher who loves 2–5-year-olds to join our fabulous teaching team. This position is 0.95 FTE (38 hours).
Waimauku Kindergarten is part of Kaitiaki Kindergarten Association. Located out West, the kindergarten has attractive outdoor learning environments with the addition of a garden area, veranda and covered outdoor spaces. Inside is a hive of activity with an emphasis on art as well as ample floor space for blocks, trains, projects and more. Children are very much in charge of their own learning and teachers are fully engaged with following and supporting their learning with provocations and conversations.
The children can attend 8.30am – 3.30pm with the majority finishing at 2.30pm and a maximum of 20 attending beyond that. Full time teaching staff work 8.00am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

We’d love to hear from you if you:
• Share our commitment to ensuring all children experience an exceptional early childhood education
• Have strong documentation skills and knowledge of Te Whatu Pokeka
• Are a supportive, hard-working and fun team member
• Have recent successful teaching experience with 2-5-year-old children
• Hold a NZ recognised ECE teaching qualification,
• Hold current NZ Teacher Certification and a First Aid certificate, and
• Are a NZ citizen/resident or hold a NZ work visa.
