.7375 FTE Teacher – Browns Bay Taiaotea Kindergarten
Part Time 29.5 hours per week, Permanent

An exciting permanent part-time opportunity has arisen at our lovely Browns Bay Taiaotea Kindergarten for a teacher seeking to work in a great teaching team. We require the person to begin work on Friday, 20th January 2023 (which is a teacher only day) before children return on Monday, 23rd January 2023.

The kindergarten has a well-established place in the heart of its community with outings to a retirement village, the library and the beach. It is part of the Enviroschool network and is actively committed to the Association’s vision for sustainable futures for all our tamariki.

Children attend between the hours of 8.30am – 2.30pm and teachers between 8am and 4.30pm. This position is for 29.50 hours, 5 days per week and the roster requires you to finish at 4.30pm on a Tuesday.

Teachers experience excellent working conditions under the Kindergarten Teachers Collective Agreement (KTCA) (6 weeks annual leave, 3 weeks professional time, generous non-contact time) and the security of being part of a supportive Association that schedules regular PLD and an annual conference in July.
