An exciting opportunity has arisen at our lovely Albany Kindergarten for a teacher seeking experience of working with a high functioning, collaborative team.

This is a one-year maternity leave position starting on Friday, 24th April 2020 (teacher-only day) and finishing at the end of Term One 2021.

Children attend between the hours of 8.30am – 2.30pm and full-time teachers work 8.00am – 4.30pm. Teachers experience excellent working conditions under the Kindergarten Teachers Collective Agreement (KTCA) (6 week’s annual leave, 3 week’s professional time, generous non-contact time) and the security of being part of a supportive Association that schedules regular PLD and an annual conference in July.

We can offer a supported induction and mentoring programme to a provisionally certificated teacher that includes additional release time. We are committed to grow new teachers but also experienced teachers will have the opportunity to teach alongside and contribute to a highly experienced team.
