Full Time Teacher – Hobsonville Pt Early Learning Centre, Permanent

Full time, Permanent

Suitable for beginning teachers

Hobsonville Point Early Learning Centre (HPELC) is a beautiful, purpose built centre that proudly sits in the heart of its community and we are looking for a warm and talented Kaiako to join our amazing team.
You might be an experienced educator or a new graduate, looking to take their first steps on their professional journey. Either way, we want you to consider the benefits of being part of our team.
As part of the Northern Auckland Free Kindergarten Association, trading as Kaitiaki Kindergartens, we benefit from being employed under the Kindergarten Teachers Collective Agreement (KTCA). This not only guarantees us pay parity, but also excellent conditions including: 5 hours non-contact per week, 6 weeks annual leave and much more.
If you are at the beginning of your professional journey, we can offer the support that you will need to grow with a dedicated mentor and regular release days to devote to your PRT tasks.
Our experienced teachers also benefit from a mentor release day, should they wish to share their knowledge with our new teachers. Either way, we make sure you feel appreciated for your mahi.
If you are a passionate educator who is committed to providing the best opportunities for tamariki, apply today. The position will commence on 6th January 2023. What a great way to start the new year!

• Are a supportive, hard-working and fun team member
• Have recent successful teaching experience with 3-5-year-old children
