An exciting opportunity has arisen at our lovely and spacious Kindergarten in Silverdale for a fun, caring, passionate and professional teacher to cover the maternity leave of one of our much-loved teachers.

Our kindergarten has amazing indoor-outdoor flow and is nestled within a beautiful environment which we pride ourselves on.  Embracing our core values of manaakitanga, auaha, whanaungatanga, kaitiakitanga and ako, and with a strong fucus on sustainability, our environment plays an integral role in our daily programme.

Tamariki attend between 8.30am – 2.30pm and full-time teachers work 8am to 4.30pm. Teachers experience excellent working conditions under the Kindergarten Teachers Collective Agreement (KTCA) (6 week’s annual leave, 3 week’s professional time, generous non-contact time) and the security of being part of a supportive Association that schedules regular PLD and an annual conference.

The team consists of a head teacher, 3 full time and 2 part-time teachers and a part-time support person who all work 5 days a week, and an administrator.

• A commitment to making sure all tamariki experience a fun and educational learning environment every day.
• Passionate about sustainability
• A NZ recognised ECE teaching qualification,
• Current NZ Teacher Certification,
• Current First Aid Certificate and
• NZ citizenship/residency or hold a NZ work visa
