Our 80-children architect-designed centre is looking for a part-time teacher to work 5 hours, 5 days a week, 9.00am – 2.30pm. This position is suitable for experienced, beginning or student teachers studying in an online programme. You will need to be flexible as your days may be spent in the Pepe (infants), Teina (2-3 years) or Tuakana (3-5 years) rooms.

Hobsonville Point Early Learning Centre is officially a kindergarten as it is part of the Kaitiaki Kindergarten Association (formerly Northern Auckland Kindergarten Association). As such the teachers have the Kindergarten Teachers Collective Agreement (KTCA) pay and conditions which includes 6 week’s annual leave. The Association holds an annual conference in July and teachers are supported to undertake additional PLD at other times to suit which includes planned (and paid) First Aid refreshers.
