Operational Leader – ECE
The role
Reporting to our General Manager, the Operational leader is pivotal in engaging and providing operational leadership for our kindergarten teams across Kaitiaki Kindergarten Association. The position is part of a small management team for the association.
The Operational leader is responsible for the operational performance and outcomes for the association’s 14 centres. This involves working in partnership with the head teacher’s/centre managers in building high-performing teams with a positive team culture. The position works in partnership with the Professional Practice Leaders who provide the pedagogical leadership across the association.
The role is a full time position based within our support office in Browns Bay, but regular travel is required to visit kindergartens across the association.
About you
As an experienced people leader, your positive leadership style and proven ability to engage, build trust, coach, and motivate diverse groups will see you succeed in this pivotal leadership role.
We are keen to hear from individuals who have previous ECE management or multi-site management experience.
Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of best practice ECE education is highly essential for this role. You are passionate about building teams; use data effectively to identify improvements; are analytical, logical; a confident communicator and effective relationship builder. Most importantly, you understand how accountability and effective decision making plays an integral role in positive engagement and achieving outcomes.
