Permanent Full Time Teacher Position – Silverdale Kindergarten
We are very sad that our teacher is moving back home up north! However, this opens up an exciting opportunity for someone to have a permanent teaching position at our lovely, spacious Silverdale Kindergarten. We are looking for a passionate and professional teacher to join a high functioning, collaborative fully qualified teaching team.
The kindergarten has wonderful indoor-outdoor flow and is a beautiful environment to work in. The teacher we are looking for should have experience teaching and providing an inspiring learning environment for 40 3–5-year-olds. We are very keen to hear what special qualities you will bring to the teaching team to add to their very creative and playful approach. There is lots of scope to weave your particular interests into the curriculum whether you are an experienced teacher or just beginning your teaching career.
Children attend between the hours of 8.30am – 2.30pm and full-time teachers work 8am to 4.30pm. Teachers experience excellent working conditions under the Kindergarten Teachers Collective Agreement (KTCA).
The team consists of a head teacher, 2 full time and 2 part-time teachers and a part-time support person who all work 5 days a week.
