Permanent Part-time teaching position – Silverdale Kindergarten – 27 hours, 0.675 FTE

An exciting permanent part-time teaching opportunity has arisen at our lovely Silverdale Kindergarten for a passionate and professional teacher keen to work with a high functioning, collaborative, fully qualified teaching team. The kindergarten has wonderful indoor-outdoor flow and is a beautiful environment to work in. The teacher we are looking for should have experience teaching and providing an inspiring learning environment for 40 3–5-year-olds.

The part-time hours (27 hours, 0.675 FTE) are worked across 5 days with one late finish at 4.30pm on Tuesdays.

Children attend between the hours of 8.30am – 2.30pm and full-time teachers work 8am to 4.30pm. Teachers experience excellent working conditions under the Kindergarten Teachers Collective Agreement (KTCA) and the security of being part of a supportive Association that schedules regular PLD and an annual conference. If you are a beginning teacher there is generous support for your induction and mentoring programme.

The team consists of a head teacher, 2 full time and 2 part-time teachers and a part-time support person who all work 5 days a week along with an administrator.
