30 hours per week: 8:30am – 3:00pm, Monday – Friday

We are excited to be seeking an unqualified Support Staff person for our Parakai Kindergarten. We
welcome applicants who would like to be an important member of the team in 2021.
The person will be supporting the teachers in contact with young children during the kindergarten day.
This is a 6 month, fixed term, part time position, term time only, unless otherwise required to attend
paid professional development time during term breaks.
The ideal person is someone who enjoys being with and working alongside young children in their
educational journey. You will need to be keen to learn about young children, kindergarten and
working with the teaching team in providing a high quality learning environment. As a culturally
diverse kindergarten community we invite applicants that may add richness to our inclusive learning
environments.
There will be an induction and training programme for the successful candidate so the person would
need to be available from Tuesday the 19th January 2021.
